|Salary Information:||Offering salary will be made between the minimum to midpoint of the posted salary range for this position, based on qualifications and experience. Employees may progress through the full salary range, subject to their successful performance and annual budget approval.|
|Under general supervision of the Community Services Manager (CSM), the Education Division Director oversees the complete management of all operational activities and provides leadership for the Ak-Chin Indian Community Educational system (Ak-Chin Education Department, Ak-Chin Early Childhood Development, and Ak-Chin Language Program). This position is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the Division of Instruction, including curriculum and staff development as well as liaison between Ak-Chin Indian Community and Maricopa Unified School District and out of district schools. |
| Minimum Qualifications:|
|A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Education and a minimum of ten (10) years progressively responsible experience in education administration or as a school administrator; OR an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills, and abilities. Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to meet the Community's insurance carrier requirements. Must successfully complete and pass a fingerprint/background check|
A Doctoral degree in Education Administration and Supervision and a minimum of ten years progressive experience as a school administrator, including at least three years as a public school superintendent and some experience in Education.
