POSITION SUMMARY: 
The Court Services Division of the Arizona Supreme Court is seeking an experienced manager to lead the Consolidated Collections Unit.  This senior-level position
 directs and manages the court enforcement projects, staff and operations of the Consolidated Collections Unit of the Court Services Division to meet the goals and objectives of the unit, and to assist the Arizona courts in enforcement of court orders through enhanced collection efforts and automation.

This position manages the development and implementation of court enforcement projects including but not limited to the Fines, Fees and Restitution Enforcement Program (FARE) and Debt Set Off (DSO), manages fiscal operations (revenue and expenditure) of court enforcement programs, directs and coordinates operational functions of the court enforcement programs with the courts, Motor Vehicle Division, Department of Revenue and contracted vendors, prepares and administers contractual services with vendors as necessary and appropriate, administers program funds and develops budgets in coordination with other management staff, performs personnel administration and supervision under the direction of the Division Director, and maintains cooperative working relationships with the court community at all levels, private business personnel, representatives of other government agencies, and the public. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in public administration, criminal justice, social science or a related field and seven years experience successfully administering court projects, including supervisory experience; demonstrated knowledge and application of project planning principles, methods, and techniques. Directly related experience may substitute for the degree requirement.  Experience with planning, directing, organizing, managing and coordinating multiple projects and personnel simultaneously with timely results is required.  This position also requires the ability to understand and interpret legislation, rules, administrative orders, and policies and procedures, knowledge of court administration functions (e.g. case and records management and court accounting), the ability to work effectively with judges, court staff and the public, and excellent oral and written communications skills.

The preferred candidate will have experience developing and managing court enforcement programs and experience in budget preparation and fund administration. 

Travel level: up to 25%.
