The Senior Consultant, LTC Professional Practice is an ambassador and subject matter expert for Long-Term Care pharmacy and Professional Practice. This person will represent key LTC Professional Practice interests with departments as they develop and enhance programs to ensure they are effective and operational for LTC pharmacies. They will collaborate with members of several cross functional teams to lend expertise on controlled substance and Professional Practice matters to mitigate risk across a fleet of ~150 pharmacy locations. As such, this key role will directly impact the mitigation of financial, regulatory and reputational risk for the company and will guide how senior leaders view the Long-Term Care pharmacy business.

The Senior Consultant of LTC Professional Practices is primarily responsible for managing and meeting deliverables for the Professional Obligations platform, which consists of several net new programs. These net new programs include, but are not limited to, the Self-Review Program, the New PIC/GM Training Program, a monthly Senior Leader Panel (consists of VPs, Senior Legal Counsel, Senior Operations Leaders, etc.) and a Pharmacy Support Program with desk audit. The purpose of this platform is to shift our pharmacy teams’ thinking to be more proactive with compliance and to create a culture rooted in a commitment to our Professional Obligations as healthcare providers.

The position requires strong independence and entrepreneurship skills, as well as analytical and communication skills. In addition, the individual must be able to independently interact with and influence a wide range of senior stakeholders, demonstrate executive presence, and be comfortable presenting to audiences at multiple levels of leadership. The position will be responsible for developing materials and recommendations to Directors (and above) and supporting field pharmacy teams and field leaders.

This individual will be accountable for their role in assisting the team in meeting or exceeding specific targeted goals that are established for risk identification and mitigation strategies for the Professional Obligations platform for Omnicare. As a result, this requires that the individual must continually hold themselves accountable for accurate results and requires the individual to work independently on a wide range of issues. In addition, the position also requires the ability to lead, innovate and think differently to find new and better ways to solve straightforward problems that present challenges to achieving those goals.

Primary duties and responsibilities include:
- Responsible to individually drive excellence for own projects by developing and implementing enhancements to improve execution and remove barriers for field and pharmacy teams
- Prioritize initiatives, structure timelines and project plans, engage and align stakeholders across multiple groups, define measures of success, incorporate feedback, and analyze results across multiple work streams to provide recommendations for Senior Leaders
- Actively contribute to the creation of new, innovative solutions in an effort to enhance overall compliance. Think strategically to contribute to the evolution of the Professional Obligations model through assessments, pilots, projects, and implementations. Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure pharmacy team members are prepared to support new programs
- Developing effective partnerships with other key stakeholders throughout Omnicare and CVS Health including LTC Internal Operations, Loss Prevention, Legal, Compliance, and our field partners

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional work experience required. Experience coming specifically from Healthcare, Retail Pharmacy, or Long Term Care strongly preferred.

- 4+ years or more of work experience
- Ability to think strategically, including defining objectives, analyzing the key elements, evaluating the risk and developing framework to achieve success.
- Strong project management skills with proven ability to carry multiple work streams forward simultaneously while delivering on time or ahead of schedule. Ability to manage and execute under pressure with competing priorities.
- Leadership ability. Demonstrates the capacity to expand role and manage additional responsibilities with initiative.
- Demonstrates critical judgment in evaluating complex issues and identifying vulnerabilities to our pharmacies, employees, company or brand.
- Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly with a diverse range of individuals, both written and verbal and with all levels of the organization. Demonstrates confidence, courage and emotional intelligence.
- Ability to collaborate with both internal and external business partners and professionally persuade diverse business leaders with fact and reason with an emphasis on achieving tangible results.
- Highly motivated individual to work in an extremely fast paced environment, both individually and with a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel and consistently prioritize key objectives.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to make sound recommendations and business decisions based on facts.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.

Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degrees strongly preferred.
