The Business Applications Analyst will effectively work as a team member to provide project coordination, functional expertise, and contribute to improvements and enhancements for mission-critical, enterprise-wide information systems support. This position will provide business applications support for all business units to ensure department and company goals are met.


· Function as specialist in support of assigned ERP systems, existing systems and implementation of new systems

· Provide expertise to the level of serving as “consultant” for first-line application questions

· Lead/coordinate conversion and integration efforts, making appropriate determinations and recommendations

· Analyze business process issues and suggest solutions; ensure process aligns with business strategy

· Serve as Technologies contact for projects that have been assigned to you

· Monitor and track IT system for requests that pertain to assigned applications

· Provide ongoing support for assigned, installed systems for applications

· Coordinate within IT Department(s) to provide information to plan and install necessary hardware and systems software

· Support training of users and user champions

· Self-educate and function as expert in industry technical trends and best practices

· Effectively interact and coordinate with users in all departments to provide technical support and problem resolution

· Interface with vendors as required

· Work with Project Manager and Manager-Business Applications to ensure IT requirements are met

· Provide timely communication concerning project status and issues affecting department or company

· Provide level 1 support for Windows Desktop and Microsoft Office

· Basic understanding of network infrastructure

· Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business/Operations Analysis or related field, required
  • 3-5 years IFS ERP or other ERP Experience in Business Analyst function, preferred
  • 1-2 years working SQL experience, preferred
  • Defense/Aerospace/Medical industry experience, preferred
  • Team-oriented
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Understand and align with business
  • Continuous improvement of skill set
  • Travel to facilities as required – estimated at 25%-50%
