Currently seeking team members who are passionate about building lasting vacation memories for owners/guest visiting our resort properties! Who enjoys promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere while providing excellent customer service at its best by expressing an outgoing upbeat friendly attitude.

What will I be doing?

As a Lead Lifeguard, you will direct and oversee the daily operation of the lifeguards and their rotations in the pool area. Coordinates the prevention of aquatic incidents through the enforcement of policies, rules, and regulations governing the conduct of owners/guests while preventing pool emergencies.

    -Assists in leading daily operations of the pool facility, leads personnel functions such as orientation, training, scheduling, rotations, and recognition of lifeguards. Maintains a positive, collaborative work environment between staff and management. Ensures team understand performance standards, uniforms and appearance standards.
    -Provides emergency care/treatment, as needed. Responds to any level of incident or emergency around the pool areas and the facility. Above all, the safety of our owners/guests is of the highest importance in this safety sensitive position. Assists and supports during emergency care and treatment in the event of an emergency until the arrival of first responders and/or emergency medical services.
    -Notifies appropriate authorities and prepares written reports on all accidents, incidents, hazardous conditions and suspicious persons or activities. Records documentation to maintain a clean and safe facility.
    -Lifeguards maintain communication and relationships with other staff, members or owners/guests while carrying out our established rules in a fair and considerate manner.
    -Oversees and directs all activities at the pool/pool deck areas. Resolves any problems arising, reports any unresolved problems.
    -Routinely inspects area to ensure cleanliness, equipment is in good working condition. Performs various maintenance duties, confirms that all logs are up to date and accurate.
    -May be required to do other duties; willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be an outstanding teammate.
    -Knowledge of water rescue methods, life guarding and first - aid practices and techniques.

    -High School Diploma/GED equivalent
    -Poses a lifeguard, CPR & First Aid certifications or obtain after hire.
    -Flexible to work any day of the week and any shift to include weekends and Holidays.
    -Ability to tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold/heat, dust and noise.
    -Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Requires occasional handling and maneuvering of persons in excess of 100 pounds.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

    -3+Customer service experience
    -3+ lifeguard experience
