Homesite Insurance Company is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, Program Manager, to work with the Director of Operations to provide strategic leadership in the areas of Insurance Operations. The ideal candidate must be able to make an immediate impact by working with stakeholders throughout the organization to plan and execute change to impact the bottom line.
This role is part of our Operations Department, which is responsible for managing post sales processing and servicing activities to meet/exceed operational service level agreements in a cost effective manner. This department has business responsibility for policy processing, billing, claims processing, in-sourced and outsourced back office operations, service platform, and business ownership of call center technology platform and operations-based IT initiatives. The Operations Department drives continuous improvement in servicing capabilities through process and IT changes and partner with Underwriting, Finance, Claims, and IT.
The Program Manager will act as a strategic change agent to drive the formulation and execution of key initiatives to support the growth of Homesite by process improvement, implementation, and development. The Program Manager will work closely with Customer Service, Billing, Claims, Policy Operations, outside vendors and IT providing expertise in ensuring that key development milestones are achieved.
Successfully execute complex programs by delivering on time and on budget programs, establishing timelines, plans, budgets and intended results and managing all stakeholders and contributing individuals and organizations to completion of the program.
Analyze data on current state of operational performance; including internal and external benchmarks and baselines, unit costs, and critical customer requirements to shape operational strategy and to implement improvement opportunities and approach
Provide recommendations to Executives in formulating operational strategy and tactical plans, taking into consideration technology and operational capabilities, as well as regulatory issues, and other business considerations
Oversee programs and projects for continuous improvement related to key operational strategies and initiatives
Participate in the transfer of knowledge of methodologies and best practices to peers and colleagues through collaboration, mentoring, and formal presentation and consulting
3-5 years of successful operations and management experience
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent credentials; Master’s degree and/or PMP or other related Operations certification designation highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to work with executives, such as CEO, CFO, and CIO on strategic direction setting and decision making
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and accomplish goals across a highly matrixed organization
Excellent communication skills
Ability to interpret and analyze data and present clear recommendations based on result
Proven decision making and leadership skills
Commercial Lines(BOP, IM, GL, etc..) is a plus
