Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Serving as first point of contact for out internal clients seeking technical assistance via ticket, phone, or
• Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
• Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by internal client and
• Walking internal clients through the problem-solving process
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
• Directing unresolved issues to the next level support personnel
• Installing and configuring workstations, software, printers, and scanners with level 2/3 direction as
• Recording events and issues and their resolution in appropriate systems
• Passing on feedback or suggestions by internal clients to the appropriate departments or personnel
• Identify and suggest possible improvements
• Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
• Good understanding of the following software or technologies:
o Windows 10
o Account management
o Ticketing systems
o Google
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues without assistance
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a team but also as an individual with minimal supervision
• Must be able to travel to all MVD Express locations in New Mexico and stay overnight
• Must be able to climb a ladder
• Must be able to crawl in small spaces that require re-wiring of network
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
