Sunroad Automotive - A/P Clerk
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing compiling, classifying, recording, verifying, and maintaining data and payments towards all accounts payable for the dealerships. Accurate recording and payment of invoices is essential. This individual will regularly interact with vendors and internal associates.
-Responsible for the full and complete cycle of accounts payable on a monthly basis
-Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval.
-Produces and files 1099’s annually
-Prepares accounts payable checks.
-Posts all open items on a daily basis.
-Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all files.
-Reconciles statement and the ledger making sure that payments are consistent with dealership schedules.
-Answers vendor inquiries regarding payment status.
-Audits freight bills against freight inquiries.
-Analyzes and updates vendor accounts as needed.
-Coordinate month end closing analysis
-Research and resolve A/P issues and/or problems as they arise
-Previous experience working as an A/P Clerk is required.
-Experience working for an automotive dealership is highly preferred.
-Must be organized with the ability to prioritize.
-Computer proficiency is required with knowledge of MS Office.
