The Service Receptionist greets customers calling into the dealership, assesses their needs, takes messages, advises customers about recall availability, and conveys general service department information.
Job Responsibilities: *Answering all inbound service calls promptly and with excellent phone manner. *Operating a telephone switchboard by answering incoming calls, transferring callers to appropriate personnel, taking detailed messages. *Advises customers on the availability of recalls. *Facilitates appointment scheduling by collecting crucial customer. *Performs follow-up customer satisfaction calls. *Act as alternate for service cashier during lunch breaks and schedule conflicts.
Qualifications: *The service receptionist should be familiar with vehicle models and personnel within the dealership, and be polite and professional in manner. *Must be organized in order to keep track of all incoming calls and visitors and have good communication skills. Receptionists are usually the first person a customer interacts with at the dealership. *Must be comfortable working with computerized information. *Prior automotive experience strongly preferred.
