Department: Operations Supervisor: Operations Manager Brief Description:
Supervises and assists the installation and move crews, communicates effectively with other OfficeScapes employees and representatives, and coordinates activities with other subcontractors and customer contacts to complete actual work orders or projects. This involves assuring safe & proper installation of the furniture according to the installation drawings & instructions, as well as safe & efficient move of all boxes and equipment according to instructions and customer protocols. Position Responsibilities:
? Organize – Plan and implement assignments for technicians to best complete daily goals.
? Communicate – Maintain contact with customers, designers, contractors, and other trades on the jobsite to assure a smooth flow for the duration of the project. Assure OfficeScapes’ managers & supervisors are kept informed of critical issues.
? Paperwork – Understand and maintain proper paperwork. Confirm that it is properly filled out, signed, and turned in to the appropriate person in a timely manner. This includes help completing the “First Report of Injury” & Motor Vehicle Accident Reports for any incidents the crew is involved in.
? Accountability – Keep abreast of all developments during daily routines, and take responsibility for the proper completion of the work orders or projects.
? Installation – Support the technicians on the project with training and/or help with actual installation, once other duties are under control.
? Professionalism - demonstrate good attendance, appearance and attitude including the ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments while enhancing internal and external relationships ? Self-motivated - have the ability to work with minimal supervision, and take an active role in your own training, proactively help other crews when appropriate.
? Flexibility - complete other duties as assigned by Operations Supervisors & upper management including covering responsibilities of other Operations employees and management as needed. Position Requirements:
? Valid driver’s license, automobile liability insurance, and Department of Transportation physical
? Ability to pass physical demonstrating ability to safely lift and move various types of furniture
? Must possess tools applicable for position
? Strong organization, communication and leadership skills
? Complete understanding of OfficeScapes installation documents including drawings & forms
? Extensive knowledge of systems, casegoods, filing, and seating products
? Strong customer service skills and commitment to customer satisfaction
? Complete understanding of the installation / move / reconfigure process
? Able to travel to other jobsites, including working evenings/weekends/overnight stays, on occasion
? Adhere to all company policies and procedures
