The purpose of this job is to coordinate large scale installations, repairs, minor remodels, or HVAC replacement at travel center locations in the U.S. and Canada.
1.Manage HVAC projects and work orders in ticketing & dispatching system and communicate with onsite vendors through resolution of issues
2.Review quotes and bids for accuracy and scope of work and review and approve invoices seeking out discrepancies
3.Assist with cost savings initiatives and vendor scorecards including tracking results on PM program and manage third party HVAC PM programs (Canada, Chiller sites)
4.Support EMS platform and optimize monitoring opportunities, control systems management and troubleshooting
5.Work with Energy Management team by serving as liaison between external HVAC call center, internal techs, and third party contractors
6.Work with stores and vendors to troubleshoot and avoid emergency dispatches by proactive focus on emergency HVAC ticket reduction and use of emergency cooling
7.Optimize current proactive and predictive analytics for HVAC to reduce downtime
8.Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
9.Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
10.Complete other duties as assigned
1.High school diploma or equivalent certificate required
2.Minimum 3 years in HVAC required or equivalent combination of education and experience
3.Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage multiple projects successfully in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
4.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
5.Ability to communicate and interact effectively with different levels of the organization to negotiate, problem solve, complete projects and influence decision making
6.Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
7.Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and within teams in order to establish and meet deadlines, goals, and objectives
8.Excellent customer service skills
9.Overnight travel required is up to 25%
