Serves as Training subject matter expert f or IT/Epic applications responsible. Responsible for design, writing and maintenance of Epic application training curriculums and end-user proficiency evaluations. Leads technical Epic application Train the Trainer content and credentialing program for Credentialed Trainers, and enhanced development of application knowledge, Responsible for design, build and maintenance of Epic application training environment. Key SME in design and training deployment of new IT/Epic application functionality and continuously on-going enhancement. Provides application troubleshooting support for Credentialed Trainers and end users.
*Serve as SME for technical Epic application workflow for clinicians and staff. Must master both an Epic application and organization s specific workflows. Support testing and design of new functionality and enhancements.
*Design, write and maintain application training curriculum for broad range of end user roles and knowledge. Curriculum may include e-learning modules, videos, tip sheets and optimization guides. Key SME in designing and delivering new hire training programs, functionality and on-going enhancements Creates and implements learning program evaluations
*Leads application Train the Trainer program, and ensures completion of competency based learning assessments. Continues to develop on-going knowledge and expertise of Credentialed trainers. Also participates in hiring selection of Credentialed Trainers.
*Designs, builds and maintains Epic application training environment.
Provide application troubleshooting support for Credential Trainer, end user, and functional partner (Coding, Compliance, Risk, and Revenue Cycle) questions and issues. Use alternate Epic environments to recreate end user workflow for research.
*Key lead in determining training needs, approach and communication of new and on-going application functionality and enhancements.
Bachelors degree preferred, and five years work experience in training, information technology, or healthcare operations or 1 to 2 years in EMR/EHR deployment. Must be capable of performing all aspects of learning facilitation with minimal guidance. Must complete Epic application certification in 6-9 months after hire. Effective coaching, team building, written and verbal communication, budgeting/resource management, end user support, and project management skills required. Application certification is required after training completion. Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint, Internet Explorer
