    Position Summary:
    The Principal is the administrative and instructional leader of the school, assuming full responsibility for all aspects of site management, including, but not limited to the following: implementation of the instructional program, facilities operation, school/community relations, and the employment, effective utilization and continued development of staff and faculty. The Principal provides strategic leadership by utilizing data to identify goals, assessing the effectiveness of specific programs or processes, and to promote continued growth and development for all students and staff.

    Reports to: Superintendent, with support from the Associate Superintendent
    Supervises: Certified and Classified Staff as assigned

    Training and Experience:
    • Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited university.
    • Five to seven years of successful experience as an Assistant Principal or Principal.

    Licensing/Certification Requirements:
    • Valid Arizona Secondary Principal Certificate
    • Valid DPS Fingerprint clearance card

    FLSA Status: Exempt
