|Position Summary||The Department of Molecular Genetics & Microbiology is seeking an Administrative Assistant 2. This position will provide day to day administrative support. The selected candidate will report directly to the Department Administrator and assist with:|
Processing financial reimbursements; Scheduling meetings; Placing lab orders; Taking minutes; Making travel arrangements; Ordering supplies using a P-Card; Executing purchases; Executing direct pay invoices; Creating JV’s; Creating memos; Review and control of incoming and outgoing correspondence; Process payroll for exempt and non-exempt staff and faculty; Assist with projects as determined by the needs of the administration
|Conditions of Employment|
High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
