Position Summary

The University of New Mexico, School of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine, is seeking Temporary Parttime Instructors with Paramedic credentials. This position will work academically at the University of New Mexico Emergency Medicine teaching courses for the EMS Consortium Tactical Emergency Medical Services (TEMS) team.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • GED/Diploma
  • NM Paramedic license or higher
  • National Registry Paramedic license
  • 3 years of Paramedic level experience in a high call volume system
  • 1 year of Tactical EMS experience supporting the New Mexico State Police.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two years’ teaching experience at a higher level.
