Job Description

A Ramada by Wyndham Viscount Suites Tucson East Front Office Manager is to welcome, assist and treat each guest and employee with respect, and create a rewarding experience.  The Front Office Manager's primary focus is to oversee the day to day operations of the hotel's Front Desk.

Tasks to be performed, includes and not limited to the following:

* Rate Management experience

*  Work within the allocated budget for the front office, to include budget of Front Desk employee payroll.

*  Directly Supervise, schedule, train, evaluate, discipline when necessary all front desk personnel and ensure proper completion of all front office duties.

*  Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily.

*  Maintain a good working relationship and communicate with all departments of the hotel.

*  Maintain master key control of Vingcard system.

*  Verify accurate room status information is accurately and property communicated; work closely with the Director of Housekeeping and Sales/Catering Departments.

*  Resolve guest problems and issues quickly, efficiently and courteously.

*  Monitor all V.I.P. and special guests requests.

*  Enforce all cash-handling, check-cashing and credit card policies; make sure Desk Agents end of shift reports are balanced.

*  Conduct regularly scheduled meeting of front office personnel.

*  Attend all required meetings, webinars and training for Managers.

*  Operate and know all aspects of Front Office computer systems, including all Front Desk Agent job duties/tasks.

*  Bilingual a plus


*  Front Desk Supervisory:  2 years (Required)

*  Hospitality 3 years (Required)
